Meadowlark Optics 液晶可变延迟器通过改变施加电压下的有效双折射,实现对偏振的精确电控。这使得输入的偏振光可以转换为任意选择的椭圆偏振、线偏振或圆偏振。这些延迟器在光学平面熔融石英窗口之间采用双折射向列液晶材料制成,窗口有透明导电的氧化铟锡(ITO)镀膜,以在特定波长范围内实现最大透射。Meadowlark Optics 液晶可变相位延迟器非常适合用于计量和医疗应用中的主动偏振控制,如应力分析、药物成分分析和生物显微镜观察。对于未补偿的延迟器,在高电压下会存在约30nm的相位调节延迟。
