白色扩散玻璃是一种半透明扩散材料，旨在创建均匀的照明。跟其他材料不同，其他材料一般是通过镀膜或层压处理形成漫射，而白色扩散玻璃是一种固体光扩散材料，可在任意情况下使用。它的表面经过抛光，会产生一些反射光，透射光呈现近似朗伯分布。白色扩散玻璃非常适用于创建均匀的照明，可在衰减器或显示屏中使用。
